Another brilliant recent find is the Clair de Lune Lenormand, by Ana Tourian. I found it listed on Etsy and fell in love with it. I’m new to Lenormands, but I’m already getting a pretty good little collection going. I am extremely picky about them, as I have become with Tarot decks. This one is a standout. It’s beautifully done, with light line drawings on a black background, like an old film negative. I think the Mountain card is downright Lovecraftian, the Child looks like a ghost on the swing, and that House is worthy of the Addams Family. This would be a great deck to do readings at Halloween if you read publicly, with its dark and atmospheric illustrations. Like most Lenormands these days it includes 2 Woman cards and 2 Man cards. It comes in a matte black tin tied with a sky blue ribbon, and includes a fold-out sheet with card meanings, info about the artist, the deck, and where to find more info about reading Lenormand decks.
Here are a few of the cards. They do not have the playing card insets as some do.
Quite a lovely little deck.
