The Tarot of Pixie’s People Kickstarter

This is just a little plug for this Kickstarter that I’m backing, and it doesn’t seem to be getting much traction. If you follow me on YouTube, you will probably have seen the video I did of the Stone Marseille Tarot deck by Lily Stone. It’s a beautifully done deck. If, however, Tarot de Marseille is not your style, Lily is now running a Kickstarter for a RWS variant called “The Tarot of Pixie’s People.” If you appreciate Pamela Colman Smith’s art and like the different takes on the RWS that Lo Scarabeo has been putting out, like the “Before Tarot”, “After Tarot,” “Tarot of the New Vision” and such, you might like this.

The Tarot of Pixie’s People zooms in on the faces of the people in the cards, encouraging us to consider what might be going through their minds at the particular moment in time that we encounter them.

All the artwork is complete, and you can see it all on Lily Stone’s website, and find the Kickstarter here. She is using the same printer that did the Stone Marseille, and I can tell you the quality is excellent. They will be producing 500 decks on 350gsm cardstock. If you’re not familiar with cardstock ratings, for comparison your average playing card deck is 300gsm (grams per square meter). The deck is due to be delivered in November 2019. She has a good track record for delivering on time. The Stone Marseille was projected to be delivered in June 2019, and I had it in my hot little hands June 3. Personally I love Pixie’s art and have several copies of the RWS deck. I hope you’ll consider supporting this one.

Lily has another deck on the back burner as well, The Pixie Tarot.
